Finance Manager
Are you an experienced finance professional seeking your next challenge in a trusted and well-established organisation? We’re working with a respected client based in Kildare who is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team on an 18-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll take ownership of core financial operations — from management accounts and month-end close to VAT compliance and financial reporting. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll bring clarity to financial performance and play an active role in supporting decision-making across the business.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-focused, and comfortable managing the day-to-day demands of a busy finance function, while also contributing to process improvements and longer-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring insight and clarity for decision-making
- Manage full month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
- Oversee VAT return preparation and submissions, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required
- Support process improvements within the finance team to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant
- Strong technical skills in management accounts, month-end close, VAT, and financial reporting
- Proficient with accounting software and MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
Contract Details:
- Location: County Kildare
- Duration: 18 months (fixed-term contract)
- Competitive daily rate (commensurate with experience)
