About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy operations team based in Rathcoole, Dublin. This role will suit a highly organised individual with experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for route planning, coordinating haulage providers, supporting import/export activities, and ensuring high service levels across daily logistics operations. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily transport routes and deliveries
  • Schedule company fleet and third-party haulage providers efficiently
  • Support import and export shipping activities
  • Monitor fleet utilisation and delivery performance
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, customers, and external transport providers
  • Ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time
  • Maintain accurate transport and logistics records
  • Ensure compliance with transport, health & safety, and company procedures
  • Support vehicle servicing, maintenance scheduling, and weekly inspections
  • Complete driver debriefs and maintain operational documentation
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organised logistics environment
  • Support continuous improvement within logistics operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or warehouse logistics
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working with transport systems or logistics administration
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Flexible and team-oriented approach

We are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives on behalf of my client based in Rathcoole, Dublin 24.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation with ongoing work and overtime opportunities available.

Shift Options

Shift 2 includes a 10% shift allowance.

Freight Forwarder, South Dublin

A freight forwarder is responsible for arranging, coordinating, and tracking the movement of goods across domestic and international transport networks. This role suits someone who is organised, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations for import and export shipments.

  • Book and coordinate transport with carriers, hauliers, and customs partners.

  • Prepare and check shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or service issues.

  • Liaise with customers to provide updates, answer queries, and maintain strong service levels.

  • Work closely with customs, warehouse, transport, and customer service teams.

  • Support cost control by selecting efficient routing and transport solutions.

Candidate profile

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transport operations.

  • Strong knowledge of road freight, import/export processes, and shipment documentation.

  • Confident using transport or forwarding systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Problem-solving mindset with good organisational skills.

Desirable experience

  • Experience working with Irish and UK freight movements.

  • Customs or export clearance knowledge.

Operations Specialists – Global Logistics Operations Team (G-LOC)

Responsibilities in the Role will include:

  • Efficiently manage and resolve logistics queries and concerns, while sharing lessons learned within the team
  • Efficient management and timely resolution of all queries relating to the ‘Global Transportation Network delivery service’ through our internal ticket system
  • Foster cross-functional communication with internal customers, creating and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues in the Production Centers, Sales Centers and Logistics
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with external parties who are key to the success of our operations – Customs and Trade Compliance, as well as external logistics partner and IT Service Provider
  • Collaborate with the team to navigate and mitigate operational disruptions, such as IT outages and capacity challenges
  • Monitor and coordinate all physical and IT flows (inbound, outbound, returns) through various TMS applications
  • Provide Information of delivery date (IOD) or Proof of delivery (POD), as required
  • Coordinate necessary shipping documents, including commercial invoices, AWB, customs, Safety Data sheets, and so on, as required
  • Any other duties commensurate with your expertise and as directed by your manager in the development of the role and the Global Logistics Operations Center

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business studies, preferably with a logistics focus, or experience in a freight forwarding agent with strong IT affinity. Any prior experience in customer service would also be beneficial
  • Customer oriented focus with exceptional interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder communication
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages like German, Chinese, Polish, Russian, or French are advantageous
  • Good communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Enthusiasm for meticulous documentation (E.g., Work instructions, SOPs, SLAs)
  • Familiarity with SAP (Module WM) or other Transport Management Systems is a plus
  • Thrives in a team environment, excels under pressure
  • Preferred training and certification in ADR, IMO, and IATA
