Head of IT

A well-established and growing organisation based in County Kildare is seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead its technology function during a significant phase of business growth, including expansion into the UK market.
This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for IT strategy, digital transformation, cyber security, infrastructure, and team leadership. The successful candidate will ensure that technology enables operational excellence, commercial performance, and long-term scalability across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities where technology can drive efficiency, innovation, and revenue growth.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance systems, platforms, products, and service delivery.

IT Operations & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary IT team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring system reliability, performance, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, third-party suppliers, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Systems, Platforms & Commercial Support

  • Support and optimise enterprise systems including CRM, ERP, e-commerce, sales platforms, and field service technologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with commercial, product, operations, and customer-facing teams to enable both B2B and B2C growth.
  • Monitor emerging technology trends and assess their potential business impact.

Security, Compliance & Project Delivery

  • Ensure strong cyber security, data protection, and GDPR compliance across all systems.
  • Lead ISO27001 implementation, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Deliver IT projects on time and within budget using agile or hybrid methodologies, while effectively managing change.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years’ experience in senior IT leadership roles (Head of IT, IT Director, Senior IT Manager).
  • Proven experience managing IT teams across multiple locations or geographies.
  • Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure and SaaS environments (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365, Active Directory, and Power Platform.
  • Commercially focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

An established and growing IT services provider is seeking an IT Field Engineer to deliver on-site technical support to a diverse client base across Ireland. This role focuses on hands-on support, installations, and maintenance across SME, enterprise, education, and public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
