Qualified Accountant – Accounting and Tax

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements for a broad portfolio of clients.
Manage corporation tax, income tax and VAT compliance.
Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports.
Provide accounting, taxation and business advisory support to clients.
Liaise directly with clients, responding to queries and offering practical financial guidance.
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning.
Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and tax legislation.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Mentor and support junior members of the team where appropriate.
Identify opportunities to improve client processes and add value through advisory services.

Skills & Experience

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and Irish taxation.
Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing client portfolios.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Proficient across a range of accounting software packages and Microsoft Office.
