Purchaser / Procurement Coordinator
Overview
Our client is expanding and hiring a commercially sharp Purchaser to take ownership of procurement across multiple active construction projects. This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence cost, programme delivery, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Procure materials (brick, block, mortar, stone, etc.) across multiple sites
- Negotiate best-in-market pricing and supplier terms
- Manage purchase orders end-to-end
- Coordinate just-in-time deliveries to meet site programmes
- Work closely with site managers and QS team on requirements
- Monitor spend and drive cost efficiencies
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues proactively
- Track and report on procurement performance
Requirements
- 2–5+ years’ purchasing experience (construction highly desirable)
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Strong Excel / systems capability
