Purchaser / Procurement Coordinator

Overview
Our client is expanding and hiring a commercially sharp Purchaser to take ownership of procurement across multiple active construction projects. This is a high-impact role where you will directly influence cost, programme delivery, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

Procure materials (brick, block, mortar, stone, etc.) across multiple sites
Negotiate best-in-market pricing and supplier terms
Manage purchase orders end-to-end
Coordinate just-in-time deliveries to meet site programmes
Work closely with site managers and QS team on requirements
Monitor spend and drive cost efficiencies
Build and manage strong supplier relationships
Troubleshoot supply chain issues proactively
Track and report on procurement performance

Requirements

2–5+ years’ purchasing experience (construction highly desirable)
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Strong Excel / systems capability
