Office Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our client’s growing family-run business based in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. This is a key position within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting leadership, staff and operational functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the office to ensure efficiency and professionalism across all administrative functions
- Implement and maintain office procedures, systems and processes to support business operations
- Coordinate office resources, supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organised working environment
- Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers and external contractors
- Provide administrative and operational support to senior management
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements and internal communications where required
- Support cross-functional collaboration across departments and act as a central point of contact within the office
- Assist with HR administration including onboarding, employee records, annual leave tracking and policy documentation
- Support recruitment coordination and employee engagement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and office efficiency
- Bring structure and organisation to evolving business needs within a growing company environment
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in an Office Manager or similar operational support role within SME and/or corporate environments
- Strong background in office operations, executive support, facilities coordination, HR administration and supplier management
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and general office systems
- A self-motivated and hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
