About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their growing team.

This is a key role responsible for managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of high-value client accounts. You will act as the primary commercial contact, ensuring client satisfaction while driving account growth, profitability, and long-term partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key client accounts
  • Act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned customers
  • Lead regular client meetings, including monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and additional services
  • Monitor account performance, profitability, and commercial KPIs
  • Support revenue forecasting and business planning activities
  • Review and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Lead or support negotiations on pricing, renewals, and service agreements
  • Prepare commercial proposals and pricing models
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and wider business teams
  • Provide reporting on account performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement across commercial processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Account Management or a similar commercial role
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and commercial contracts
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or revenue planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
