We're seeking an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join a busy and growing team in Portlaoise. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, identifying opportunities, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced commercial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Handling inbound enquiries and converting opportunities into sales
- Advising customers on technical products and recommending the best solutions
- Preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborating with operations, logistics, and sales teams to deliver for customers
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales activity
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role
- A proactive, target-driven mindset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with customers and understanding their needs
- Experience in steel, construction materials, manufacturing, or a technical product environment is an advantage
- Strong organisational and administration skills
