HGV Driver (Artic) – Day & Night Shifts

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare

My client is currently seeking experienced Artic HGV Drivers to join their growing transport operation based in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering stable, long-term work, modern vehicles, and competitive pay.

Both day and night shift positions are available, with all shifts starting and finishing at the company's central depot.

Pay & Benefits

Day rate: €142 per shift
Night rate: €164 per shift (€22 night shift premium)
€19 daily subsistence payment
Optional 6th day available

Shift Patterns

Available shift patterns include:

Tuesday to Saturday
Sunday to Thursday

Shift start times:

Day shifts: 8:00am–10:00am
Night shifts: 8:00pm–9:00pm

Typical shifts are approximately 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate articulated HGV vehicles throughout Ireland
Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule
Carry out daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Follow all road transport legislation, company procedures, and health & safety requirements
Complete vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately
Load and unload vehicles as required
Operate refrigerated vehicles where applicable (training provided if required)

About You

To be considered, you should have:

A full, clean EC (Artic) driving licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph card
At least 2 years' HGV driving experience with an Irish or UK transport or logistics company
Good knowledge of the Irish road network
The legal right to work in Ireland
A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

Experience operating refrigerated vehicles would be beneficial but is not essential.
