Our client, a well-established not-for-profit organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join its dynamic team. Reporting to the CEO, this is a broad role combining finance, operations, governance and HR administration, with significant responsibility and senior-level exposure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, cash flow, payroll and financial reporting.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and analysis for the CEO and Board.
  • Ensure compliance with SORP, Irish charity law, tax and statutory requirements.
  • Manage financial reporting for grant-funded projects.
  • Oversee governance, risk management, statutory filings and Board/committee administration.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including HR, IT, office management, procurement and facilities.
  • Review and improve systems, processes and policies to drive operational efficiency.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, pensions and employee administration.
  • Provide financial and operational advice to the CEO and Board and contribute to strategic planning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in finance and operational management.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with senior management and/or Boards.
  • Strong understanding of governance, compliance and SORP.
  • Previous charity/not-for-profit experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
