The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all aspects of the HSE Management Systems within the Dublin operation.
Key responsibilities include:
Prompt communication and reporting relating to accident/incident investigations and general HSE matters
Liaising directly with Production, Planning, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure all HSE control systems and procedures are adhered to
Timely reporting of weekly, monthly, and annual HSE reports to the Plant Manager and relevant personnel as required
Managing, driving, and overseeing all aspects of Health & Safety within the Dublin site, including all Health & Safety KPIs
Supporting company programmes designed to continuously improve systems and overall HSE performance
Conducting and communicating Risk Assessments and creating Safe Systems of Work to ensure safe site operations
Managing and proposing capital and special projects related to Health, Safety, and Environment, including budgeting, contractor management, and cost establishment
Coordinating and managing all Environmental and Health & Safety audits through to successful completion
Arranging and managing all HSE-related training for employees as required
Supporting and implementing all new systems and procedures related to HSE Management
Managing the sourcing and procurement of PPE and associated Health & Safety supplies
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required by the Operations Manager or Plant Manager
Attending relevant management and operational meetings
