Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Naas
Duration: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 3-month temporary assignment.
This is a hands-on credit control role, supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager with the management and collection of outstanding customer balances. If you have solid experience in credit control or accounts receivable and are confident dealing with customers by phone and email, this could be a great opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
- Review the debtor ledger and identify overdue invoices.
- Contact customers by phone and email to follow up on outstanding payments.
- Manage customer queries professionally and confidently.
- Ensure outstanding invoices are followed up promptly and consistently.
- Keep accurate records of customer communications and payment activity.
- Prepare and maintain weekly credit control reports.
- Support the wider Accounts Receivable team with additional duties as required.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience using MS Office and accounting systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident speaking with customers and following up on payments.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
- A professional and trustworthy approach, with the ability to handle confidential financial information.
