As the chosen candidate, your daily tasks will involve:
- Ensuring the secure fabrication of pole products on-site, in line with customer specifications, and in compliance with the relevant EN quality standards.
- Collaborating with fellow team members in fabrication to ensure smooth execution of daily treatment charges loading/unloading, and fulfilling additional duties as needed.
- Implementing 6S principles throughout the fabrication process to uphold outstanding housekeeping standards.
- Adhering to Company EHS standards daily and investigating any deviations.
- Participating in relevant training for daily tasks, actively engaging in team-based work, and completing daily checks under CATCH for pole quality, pole cut-backs, and H&S equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Essential:
- Proficiency in the daily use of chainsaws, drills, and other cutting/boring equipment.
- Extensive working knowledge of customer product quality specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, combined with self-motivation and a positive demeanor.
- Well-organized, conscientious, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desired or Willing to be Trained:
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing systems & 6S.
- Introductory wood science or forestry management qualification.
- Comfortable working in a team environment, with a willingness to lead and share responsibilities as needed.
- Comprehensive understanding of Company E,H&S policy requirements and quality standards.
