At Clark, we are delighted to be partnering with our client, based in Dublin 24 to recruit a Distribution Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

The Role Holder will work alongside the Distribution & Logistics Manager managing the daily distribution network across the 26 counties.
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing daily distribution operations across the 26 counties
- Liaising with the team of self-employed distribution contractors
- Managing the distribution Budget
- Plan ongoing opportunities for distribution synergies
- Liaise with publishers, print sites
- Liaise with third party company that provides packing staff
- Point of contact for all Distribution queries
- Participation / contribution to projects as and when required
- Preparation of costings etc for tender processes
- Assist with integration of acquisitions, including identifying and implementing synergy opportunities
- Other ad hoc work
- Flexible to be onsite when emergencies arise
- Experience working within a fast-moving and time sensitive distribution operation
- Full driving licence
- Experience in project planning and delivery
- Prior SAP experience is preferable but not essential
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills;
- Exceptional time management and able to solve problems;
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Works well in a team;
- Flexible worker (to meet demands of delivering time sensitive products);
- Proficient in Excel and MS Word.
