We are partnering with our client to recruit for a Qualified Electrician with Industrial / Commercial experience. The position is permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Make Up and install cable containment in line with layout drawings and dimensions
- Install and terminate cable in the correct manner and in line with site standards
- Guarantee that the works comply with site quality standards and guidelines
- Comply with all safety limitations and procedures
- Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all time on site
- Keep the workplace in a tidy manner and free of excess materials
- Plan and execute works in the most productive manner
- Dispose of waste in the correct receptacles
- Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPA’s etc.
- Testing, maintenance and repair/replacement
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have time served Electrical trades experience
- Highly skilled in electrical and instrumentation disciplines
- Problem-solving – to take controlled / real time approach to problems and solving them
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
- Interpersonal skills – and be willing to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a wider site team
- Understanding of construction documentation an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to work well under pressure and within a strict time limit environment
