Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts Administrator to join our client’s growing finance team based in Little Island, Co. Cork. This role is ideally suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a busy SME environment and enjoys supporting day-to-day financial operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and invoicing.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate running of financial administration processes while supporting the wider finance team during periods of growth and increased activity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately
  • Process supplier invoices, payment runs, and customer invoicing
  • Perform bank, supplier, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end reporting and finance administration tasks
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up where required
  • Support the finance team with general administrative duties and ad hoc reporting
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced environment
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers professionally
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar finance support role
  • Strong experience across AP, AR, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Experience working within SME environments preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software, example Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively
  • Comfortable supporting busy finance teams during growth periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
