Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Clane-based client for an experienced and motivated Office Administrator. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering and directing incoming calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Processing customer orders efficiently and accurately
  • Inputting data and maintaining records using Sage  
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors with enquiries
  • Handling card payments and general office transactions
  • Supporting accounts functions including debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations
  • Coordinating and ensuring smooth flow of orders to field-based staff
  • General administrative duties as required to support the team

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Systems-savvy with good IT skills (experience with Sage is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong common sense
  • Reliable, punctual, and efficient
