Are you a qualified accountant ready to step into a strategic leadership role? Our Dublin-based client is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee their Accounts Department and play a pivotal role within the Senior Management Team.
As Financial Controller, you’ll drive strategic decision-making, ensure strong governance, and lead financial planning and compliance. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver on strategic objectives and operational plans
Provide financial insight through P&L and Balance Sheet reporting
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Conduct financial analysis and commentary for reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (VAT, Duty, etc.)
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks
Oversee CapEx planning and business case evaluation
Support the Director with financial strategy and decision-making
Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships
Oversee preparation of business plans and forecasts
Contribute to internal audits and strengthen financial controls
About You:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Commercially focused with strong strategic and financial leadership skills
Experience leading finance teams and driving performance improvements
Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and hands-on approach to work
