Laboratory & Healthcare Service Technician

Co. Kildare | Field-Based Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the laboratory and healthcare sector based in Co. Kildare, for a Laboratory & Healthcare Service Technician.

The successful candidate will provide on-site service and technical support to customers, ensuring laboratory and healthcare equipment is installed, maintained, calibrated and operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Commission, service, maintain, repair, calibrate and validate laboratory and healthcare equipment.
Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on equipment and applications.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation and customer records.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, risk assessments and quality procedures.
Maintain spare parts and consumables stock within the company vehicle.
Provide telephone support and participate in an on-call rota when required.
Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional services or products.
Attend training and develop technical knowledge of equipment and applications.

Requirements

Electrical qualification desirable.
2-3 years’ experience in a similar field service role.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Service Technician.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
Strong reporting, IT and organisational skills.
