Junior Operations Manager

Location: Tallaght, Dublin
Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Junior Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of a busy operations function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing, fleet, customer service or a supervisory role who is looking to develop their leadership career.

Key Responsibilities

Support the daily management of logistics, transport, fleet and warehouse operations
Assist with transport scheduling, route planning and delivery coordination
Support stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse activities
Help coordinate and motivate operational teams
Monitor operational performance, service levels and customer requirements
Assist with health & safety compliance, audits and workplace inspections
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery
Monitor operational costs and support cost-saving initiatives
Assist with operational reporting, planning and continuous improvement projects
Work closely with customers, sales and internal teams to resolve operational issues

Requirements

1-3 years' experience in an operations, logistics, warehouse, fleet or supervisory environment
Experience supporting or supervising a team
Strong organisational and planning skills
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Strong customer-focused approach
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and operational systems
Experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing or service operations is desirable

Desirable: IOSH/NEBOSH qualification, fleet management or transport planning experience, and exposure to Lean or continuous improvement.
