Office & Accounts Manager

Location: Dublin – Hybrid

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are recruiting an Office & Accounts Manager for an exciting and growing company operating within Ireland’s renewable energy and low-carbon infrastructure sector.
This is a varied role combining office management, accounts administration, executive support and general business administration, working closely with the CEO and wider team.
Industry experience is important for this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within the solar, wind, renewable energy or wider energy/infrastructure sector, and who understand the fast-paced nature of project-led businesses.

The Role
You will take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting the financial and administrative requirements of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day office administration, facilities and suppliers
  • Supporting accounts payable, expenses, VAT, bank reconciliations and payroll administration
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
  • Supporting project, grant and funding administration
  • Liaising with external accountants and assisting with audit requirements
  • Coordinating business travel, accommodation and itineraries
  • Providing administrative and executive support to the CEO and wider team
  • Coordinating meetings, events and office activities
  • Maintaining effective filing and administrative systems
  • Supporting wider business operations as required

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience in office administration, office management or a similar role
  • Previous experience across office administration and accounts support
  • Experience within solar, wind, renewable energy, energy or infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working in a start-up company
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a busy, growing business
  • Strong Microsoft Office and finance/accounting systems experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, practical and comfortable working independently
  • Full driving licence desirable but not essential
  • Full EU working rights
