Business Operations Analyst – SAP Warehouse & Logistics Systems

Glenhaze Distributors Ltd. based in Unit L, Ballymount Cross Industrial Est., Ballymount, Dublin 24, D24 XW21 are looking to recruit a Business Operations Analyst – SAP Warehouse & Logistics Systems to join their team.

Salary: €40,904 per annum
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities & Duties of the role include

  • Lead and analyse SAP S/4HANA Warehouse and Logistics processes to improve operational efficiency, inventory management, order fulfilment, and supply chain performance.
  • Mapping and redesigning FMCG business requirements and operational workflows, translating business needs into SAP system improvements, process enhancements, and practical technology solutions.
  • Support business analysis, testing and implementation of SAP S/4HANA configuration changes and system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse, logistics, and supply chain functions.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of warehouse and logistics processes, identifying opportunities for automation, process standardisation, and improved system utilisation.
  • Analyse operational, financial, and supply chain data to prepare reports, identify trends, and support business decision-making. Analysing warehouse KPIs and service-level performance.
  • Develop insights from SAP-generated data to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse performance, resource utilisation, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams, supply chain stakeholders, finance teams, and technical specialists to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
  • Support the integration of SAP S/4HANA solutions with wider business operations, ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and organisational objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support, documentation, and guidance to business users to maximise the effectiveness of SAP warehouse and logistics systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of FMCG warehouse and logistics processes, including: High volume inbound/outbound flows, Retail customer compliance, Shelf life and batch management, Promotional and seasonal demand spikes
  • Proven experience leading projects in a fast paced operational environment.
  • Ability to translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a hands on, problem solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A third-level qualification in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or a related discipline is essential.
