Production Operator / General Operative
About the Role
We are currently hiring Production Operators / General Operatives for a busy batch manufacturing site in Ringaskiddy. This is a hands-on, labour-intensive role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
No previous experience is required as full induction and training will be provided.
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in a production environment.
**Access to your own transport to get to work daily is essential**
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Enjoy an early finish every Friday!
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out production activities in line with GMP, HSEQ, and company procedures
- Operate, clean, and organise production equipment
- Mix formulas and compounds in outdoor production areas
- Fill and label drums accurately for customer orders
- Handle and move up to 400 drums during production runs
- Transfer products safely to shipping and storage areas
- Take in tank loads and drum products down to required sizes
- Complete batch records and production documentation accurately
- Carry out sampling and in-process quality checks
- Report equipment issues and assist with simple maintenance tasks
- Support housekeeping and maintain high 5S standards
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear PPE correctly
- Assist with training and supporting new team members

- Comfortable working around chemical substances in a regulated environment
Desirable (but not essential)
- Forklift licence and/or experience driving a forklift
