Transport Planner
We are currently seeking an experienced and organised Transport Planner to join our operations team. This role involves managing day-to-day logistics functions, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle routing, and maintaining strong communication with drivers and customers.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily transport operations to maximise efficiency

Monitor vehicle movements and respond to operational changes

Maintain accurate transport documentation and compliance records

Support drivers with route information and delivery requirements

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure service levels are met

Assist with cost control, fuel usage monitoring, and reporting

Promote safe working practices across all transport activities
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or a similar role

Strong knowledge of transport regulations and operational compliance

Confident using logistics systems, routing tools, and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
