Job Title: Tradecounter Sales Executive
Location: Dublin
Reporting to: Sales Office Manager
SUMMARY:
To ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Dublin Tradecounter
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Point of contact for all customer collections from the depot.

To provide an excellent first impression for callers to the company’s office either by phone or in person and to escalate enquiries as appropriate.

Issuing daily cash sale reports for the Dublin branch.

Tracking orders and queries
-
Handling electronic payments from customers.

Process and manage all relevant computerised documentation to customers i.e., raising sales orders, dispatch notes, order acknowledgements and paper documentation relating to all customer collection orders, walk-in orders, and Tradecounter sales

Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, liaising with both the Sales and Business Development Managers for all customer collections

Develop monthly Tradecounter promotions each month to maximise sales revenue

Liaise with the sales team and customers to maximise customer service and manage their expectations

Understand customer needs and requests

Process Stock Returns and liaise with Sales Team in line with our Quality Management System

Handle hire sales and returns
-
Continuously update knowledge skill base by attending product training sessions
-
Liaise with purchasing department to ensure optimum stock levels are maintained, and to maximise warehouse space and layout

Establish contractor customer base at depot level whilst gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements

Generate enquiries and orders for the full product range whilst maximising company profits
-
Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets

Identify and report on new product and market opportunities
-
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development

Adherence to all company health & safety and operational procedures
-
Work as part of the wider sales and business unit teams
-
Other Duties as necessary
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Typically requires one or more years’ experience in an administrative role.

Sage experience preferable, but not essential as training will be provided.

Must have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and have high standards of professional conduct.

Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
-
Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on first-class customer service.
