Tax Senior
My Dublin-based client is seeking a Tax Senior to join their hybrid, fast-growing and dynamic tax department. Reporting to the Tax Partner, this role offers the chance to broaden technical and advisory skills across multiple tax areas, with a particular focus on employment tax and global mobility matters. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality client solutions and support a wide range of tax assignments. Key Responsibilities:
- Play a hands-on role in delivering exciting projects across a variety of sectors, gaining real-world experience and exposure to senior advisors.
- Support assignment planning, resourcing, and scheduling, learning how high-impact engagements are structured and executed.
- Get actively involved in assignment briefings, contributing ideas and understanding the objectives behind each project.
- Build commercial insight by assisting with tenders, fee proposals, and client advisory support.
- Help shape client strategies by supporting tax planning advice and engaging with diverse consultancy projects under expert guidance.
- Manage multiple tax assignments confidently, honing time management and prioritisation skills while knowing support is always available.
- Collaborate across the firm – Audit, Company Secretarial, and more – expanding your internal network and gaining a 360° view of the business.
- Enhance client relationships by liaising directly and contributing to the growth and development of the client portfolio.
- Deliver high-quality outputs, ensuring work is accurate, well-documented, and completed within deadlines and budgets.
- Play a role in business development initiatives, contributing to the firm’s growth and future success.
- Operate confidently within the firm’s policies, procedures, and authority levels, maintaining professionalism and compliance

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- PQE 0-2 years (recently qualified or nearing qualification)
- A qualification as a Tax Consultant (AITI CTA) is highly desirable, or significant progress towards AITI qualification with commitment to complete
- Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) is desirable
- Strong experience in income tax advisory work, including private client tax planning, tax compliance, and advisory services
- Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated experience in preparing tax advisory reports, client correspondence, and technical documentation
- Proven ability to explain complex tax matters clearly in writing to clients and colleagues
- Strong technical competence in income tax with willingness to develop expertise in employment tax and global mobility
- Proven ability to work on a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate supervision
