We’re hiring 10 qualified Social Care Workers to join a caring, professional team in Naas, Co. Kildare.

You’ll work in a supportive, person-centred environment providing high-quality care to adults with intellectual disabilities — empowering each person to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Support adults with intellectual disabilities in daily living

  • Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in the community

  • Develop and deliver person-centred care and support plans

  • Assist with personal care, household tasks, and social activities

  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team

  • Ensure all care meets HIQA and safeguarding standards

What You’ll Need

  • Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care Studies or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities or vulnerable adults

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of HIQA regulations and person-centred planning

  • Full, clean driver’s licence (vehicle provided for transporting residents)

  • Flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and 24-hour shifts (80-hour fortnight)

Desirable:

  • Training in Studio 3 or Positive Behaviour Support

  • Experience in residential, community, or not-for-profit settings

  • Familiarity with the New Directions model of care
