Senior Administrator

The Senior Administrator provides high-level administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth operation of the department or organisation. This role involves managing complex administrative processes, coordinating projects, and supervising junior administrative staff. The position requires excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

  • Manage and maintain records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other documentation for management and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and appointments, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups.

  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior administrative staff, including training and performance support.

  • Assist in budget monitoring, invoicing, and financial record-keeping as required.

  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and excellent customer service.

  • Support project management activities, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.

  • Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices across administrative functions.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative or office management role, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.

  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and complex administrative tasks.

  • Knowledge of office systems, financial procedures, and record management.

  • Previous experience supervising staff is an advantage.
