About the Role
We are recruiting a Retrofit Building Surveyor to complete technical home energy surveys and assess properties for suitability for retrofit measures. The role ensures high standards of compliance with SEAI, NSAI, ISO, and Irish Building Regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Complete detailed retrofit surveys on domestic properties.

Assess suitability for insulation, ventilation, and renewable energy upgrades.

Prepare measurements, risk assessments, and technical documentation.

Explain installation processes and ventilation requirements to homeowners.

Monitor subcontractor workmanship for compliance.

Conduct quality assurance inspections and maintain audit-ready records.

Apply S.R. 54, SCSI Residential Retrofit Standards, Building Regulations, and SEAI guidelines.
Requirements

Experience in building surveying or retrofit project assessments.

Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and energy efficiency principles.

High attention to detail and strong reporting skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Degree in Building Surveying, Engineering, or Construction.

Full clean driving licence.
Desirable:
-
Experience in quality assurance or compliance.

Familiarity with ISO standards and NSAI processes
