Programme Manager/Administrator

Clark Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with their Naas based client, a producer on the Irish Market to recruit a Programme Manager/Administrator. Our clients’ members offer a wide range of vegetable, mushroom, and other produce throughout the Irish season.

This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Objectives:

  • Ensuring production levels are in line with expected demand by appropriate capacity planning and continuous monitoring of demand and supply.
  • Briefing grower members on all aspects of the business via regular grower meetings.
  • Create Monthly reports Members on Sales, Asset management, Allocated funding and Payments etc
  • Maintaining Producer Organisation Status for the PO
  • Grow the number of Members in the Producer Organisation – Actively engage with growers, including on-site visits, to promote the Producer Organisation and support the growth of its member base

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring company compliance with regulatory reporting requirements as set out by the Department of Agriculture
  • Providing the main point of contact with The Department of Agriculture and ensuring effective communication between the growers and the PO Board and with other stakeholders and service providers.
  • Building effective working relationships with each member of the PO and have a clear understanding of the member business needs.
  • Organising regular meetings for PO – Members.
  • Coordinating planning and production of members produce to maximise market opportunities, minimise waste and ensure optimum returns for growers.
  • To carry out any other functions as directed by the PO Board.
  • For creating policies and procedures, and ensuring they are implemented, reviewed, and improved so the PO runs in line with rules and regulations as set out by the Department of Agriculture
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure all invoicing, timesheets, and grower agreements are accurate, up to date, and readily available for inspection by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified preferred.
  • Strong Business, Administration, Agricultural background.
  • Computer literate.
  • Accounts experience desirable.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance advantageous.
  • Interpersonal Skills as extremely important.
