Procurement Lead

Location: Dublin (preferred), Kilkenny or Cork
Reporting to: CFO

We are recruiting a Procurement Lead to join a well-established, Irish-owned organisation operating across freight, logistics, warehousing and in-market sales solutions. The business partners with leading brands across multiple sectors, delivering high-quality, end-to-end services that connect products with consumers nationwide.

The Role

This is a key position responsible for leading all procurement and buying activities across the organisation. You will ensure best value, strong supplier performance and compliance, while driving operational efficiencies and supporting the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes across goods and services
Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers; manage contracts and SLAs
Streamline supplier base to reduce cost, duplication and risk
Identify and deliver cost-saving and efficiency initiatives
Build strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
Conduct spend analysis, reporting and market benchmarking
Ensure procurement governance, compliance and audit readiness

About You

Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or similar
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a procurement or buying role
Strong negotiation, commercial and supplier management skills
Proven track record delivering cost savings and efficiencies
Excellent communication, organisational and analytical abilities
Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Excel
Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites
