Motor Technician – Breakdown Assistance
Location: Dublin and surrounding areas (field-based role)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 per annum (including overtime)
Overview
A leading roadside assistance provider is seeking skilled Motor Technicians to join its team. This is a field-based position involving roadside and on-site diagnostics, repairs, and recovery support. The role is suitable for experienced automotive professionals who can work independently and maintain high customer service standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to vehicle breakdowns at customers’ homes or on the roadside.

Carry out fault diagnosis and minor mechanical or electrical repairs where possible.

Coordinate with the operations centre to arrange recovery or further assistance when required.

Maintain all tools, equipment, and vehicles to required safety and operational standards.

Provide a professional, courteous service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Experience and Requirements

Previous experience in a garage, workshop, or vehicle service environment.

Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

Full, clean B driving licence (BE licence an advantage).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and overtime when required.
