Job Purpose: This management role will be responsible for the development, implementation, co- ordination and reporting of sustainable, continuous improvement policies and procedures across all areas of the business

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Responsible for implementing process & product improvements in all areas of the business
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield control and process up-time
• Support operation enablers utilising Lean Sigma initiatives
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining & improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers and improving quality standards
• Implement and monitor Lean manufacturing initiatives across the Plant
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process
Project Management
• Demonstrate a teamwork-based project management approach to the delivery of projects and process improvements ensuring milestones are met on time and in budget
• Support the business investment strategy with research of latest equipment and systems technology
• Primary point of contact for Ent. Irl. and our chosen CI Training partners
General
• Support all Company Policies including Environment, Quality and H&S Policies
• Liaison officer on all CI initiatives and practices at all plants
People
• Work closely with frontline resources such as the Production Team Leader, general operators, maintenance teams and other relevant support functions
• Train and educate the organization on the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies
Reporting
• Responsible for reporting on process performance, plans to optimize the process and project management where applicable. Formally communicating / reporting same. Collect, record, and transcribe data. Show results in reports
• Responsible for maintaining project budgetary control
• Establish and Report on Key Performance Metrics
• The implementation of new quality standards as required and supporting a culture of continuous quality and Hygiene improvement
Formal Qualifications / Experience
• Certification or work experience in Lean/Six Sigma is vital for this role
• Project Management experience is highly desirable
• Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Projects). SAP desirable
• Ability to work alone or as part of project team
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish
• Higher level qualification is desirable in one of the following areas, engineering, manufacturing, or food related discipline

• Demonstrate hands on strategic ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving ability for mechanical and process type problems, with a demonstrated ability to get to root cause
• Demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written); effective presenting ability who is effective in communicating with all stakeholders
• Enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, can-do attitude is a must
• Be experienced business numerate and financial skills
• Be very organized
