We are currently partnering with our client to recruit for an Accounts Payable Officer on a fixed-term contract basis. With 2 – 3 years experience in a similar position, the role will provide accounts payable support, delivering a proactive, comprehensive, high-quality service in line with best practice and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of high volume invoices.
  • Perform monthly creditors statement reconciliations.
  • Preparation / Processing of fortnightly payment runs for
  • Identify and resolve potential control weaknesses within Financial Operations
  • Develop solid working relationships with both suppliers and team members/colleagues.
  • Addressing and closing out on supplier queries as and when required.
  • Other ad hoc duties.

Skills and Experience:

  • An ability to work on own initiative and to work collaboratively with others
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in a similar role, working with high volume and fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Strong numerical/analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and work on own initiative.
  • Flexible with an ability to adapt to changing requirements/ priorities.
