As a Financial Accountant you will provide support with budgeting, managing tax payments and performing internal audits. A strong, analytical thinker, you will work with the Finance Business Partner and will carry out cost and revenues analyses. A self motivator, you will work on your own initative and “hit the ground running”.

You will report directly to the Financial Controller and work as part of the Finance Department team.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, accruals, and prepayments, etc whilst ensuring the integrity of the financial information.
• Month-end close and delivery in accordance with agreed group deadlines and completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
• P&L forecasting and analysis.
• Treasury management – daily banking operations.
• Supporting the accounts payable team.
• Preparing and posting month end journals for both SI and NI entities.
• Participate in cross functional training as required from time to time.
• Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures including safe work practices as set out in the Contract of Employment and the Staff Handbook.
• Carry out any other duties/tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller or other Officer as appointed by the Managing Director.

Experience Required:
• Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant
• Must be fully proficient in Reporting, and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX desirable.
• Budget management.

Education:
• Relevant third level qualification/professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA , or CIMA

Knowledge of:
• Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
