Our Meath based client has an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a dynamic, innovative and thriving company. This is a full-time position and the role will support a wide range of finance, operations and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts to enable the production of timely and accurate financial statements and reports
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Treasury management
- Inventory control
- Working with the finance team in delivering the month end close process
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Accounts reconciliations for review
- Completion and filing on time of all statutory returns to Revenue
- Working with the Finance team in the preparation of the Annual Budget.
- Working with the finance team to complete the Annual Statutory Audit.
Other ad-hoc tasks and exercises as required by the business.
Skills
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE. (Alternatively by experience)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of MS office
- Exposure to ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal and results oriented individual with an ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Manufacturing experience desirable, but not essential.
