Service Technical Co-Ordinator

We are partnering with our client, Endress+Hauser, in recruiting for a Service Technical Co-Ordinator. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual with strong technical expertise to join a leading organisation as an integral part of their Service engineering team.

Your primary role is to provide technical support to the Endress+Hauser Service Department to enable the team to deliver exceptional field-based service to their clients throughout Ireland. The role involves interaction with customers, service engineers and the wider sales and service team.

Whilst predominantly based in the Endress+Hauser office in Cork, the scope of work covers the complete customer base in Ireland and some travel to customer sites will be required.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first class customer service to all external and internal customers whilst demonstrating a “can-do” attitude and a positive, team oriented and friendly approach.
  • Ensure a consistent, systematic and conscientious service to Endress+Hauser customers through acting as “the cog in the wheel” between the internal team and external customers to ensure that all aspects of service activities are carried out to the highest standard and in an efficient, safe and productive manner.
  • Specification and determination of customer service requirements by phone, email or in person, to ensure quotations and scheduled work is accurate and efficient including having strong input into service contracts.
  • Identifying the availability of spare parts, service tools and calibration equipment necessary for the Endress+Hauser field service engineers to perform their work including coordination of availability both from stock and supply internally and externally from Production Centres or 3rd Party Suppliers.
  • Provision of technical support to customers through the Endress+Hauser internal platform supporting higher level technical queries or issues related to priority customers
  • Build and develop a collaborative environment with members of the Endress+Hauser Sales Team providing guidance on the provision of services to our customers to maximise the potential return from associated service activities.

 

And now about you:

Ideally you will have an engineering background, coupled with leading in a team environment and operating in a technical world. Appropriate educational qualifications are an advantage.

You will be an excellent planner and organiser who demonstrates an ability to plan and co-ordinate resources with a focus on delivery of service and strong cost control.

Your excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to proactively build relationships internally and externally will be essential.
