Due to an exciting expansion announcement involving a Global Logistics Operation Centre  for their operation in Ireland, an opportunity has arisen for a 

Logistics Tender Co-ordinator  - Global Courier Express Parcel Carrier (CEP)

Reporting to the  Logistics Procurement Manager your tasks will include:

  • Run or support tenders from Regional Hubs in (DE, US, CN, IN) as well as from 50 Sales Center worldwide
  • Plan and develop tender documents including clarification of legal and business requirements and issues
  • Develop and write tender RFQ detailed but easy to read
  • Execute tender with electronic tendering tools and evaluation of data and follow-up deadlines
  • Calculates and benchmark transportation costs in tender and for spot requests
  • Given the RFP results, prepares recommendations for Steering Team decision-making
  • Communication with LSP analog life cycle
  • Regular monitoring of tender success and analysis of success factors
  • Handover and close Cooperation to Implementation Team and other stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Degree qualified with a focus on logistics and / or strong experience in logistics tender management especially in Courier Express Parcel (CEP)
  • A high level of self-direction, initiative and commitment
  • Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills, high level of problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of electronic tender tools, Excel, MS Word and Power Point
  • Experienced in negotiation management
  • Fluent spoken and written knowledge of English, one additional language like German and Chinese are an advantage
