We are partnering with our client to recruit a Commercial Administrator who will work as part of the Commercial Team in the Support Centre. The main duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Administrator role are to provide administrative support to the Commercial team while also identifying opportunities for efficiencies. You will also aid in supporting the Sales Team. Responsibilities:

  • Working as a key member of the Commercial team to gain a better understanding of the entire business.
  • Support the activities of the Commercial team when dealing with suppliers and manufacturers on a day to day basis.
  • Administration & product set up duties to include data maintenance & clean up activity as required.
  • Provide information for the weekly communications and monthly offers.
  • Support the team in preparation for all internal and external meetings.
  • Work closely with the Commercial team on raising and tracking of purchase orders.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of own and suppliers price files.
  • Creation and maintenance of all Supplier documentation. 
  • Manage all member & supplier queries and ensure they are logged and dealt with in a professional, timely manner.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing and warehousing teams.
  • To schedule and produce reports to required timelines and perform data analysis.
  • Delivering on actions of the commercial plan.
  • Competitor reviews including analysis and activity tracking.
  • Ownership of FOB delivery schedules and communication of key deadlines and dates internally.
  • Actively participate and contribute to business development and project initiatives as required.
  • Operate as a team player and positively contribute to achieving growth targets of the business.
  • Other commercial duties may be assigned from time to time in line with the changing needs of the business.

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Good time management and planning skills

  • Target driven – experience in meeting deadlines on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and used to working in a busy environment
  • High levels of resilience and tenacity.
  • Highly numerate and competent on common applications i.e. PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Extremely competent with Microsoft Excel
  • A familiarity with ProDiver software would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Photoshop would also be beneficial
