We are partnering with our client to recruit for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in the Kildare Area. Within the role you will work cross functionally with a number of teams and be able to demonstrate high levels of initiative as well as being accurate and have the ability to work to targets and achieve deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Pack and Quarterly Accounting Packs including the submissions required for Group Reporting
- Providing analysis and interpretation of monthly operating results versus budget and versus previous year
- Preparation and interpretation of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Preparation and analysis of monthly sales – identifying key areas of focus
- Budget preparation for the total business including preparation of submissions required for Group Reporting
- Constantly reviewing and assessing processes within the business ensuring that the company have best in class processes
- Preparation of Year End Audit file and liaison with external auditors
- Ad hoc project work
- Provide financial analysis to assist management decision-making
- Finance lead on implementing and developing the company IT systems
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant - FCCA / MIATI / CIMA
- 3 years experience working within FMCG
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Good team player with ability to multi-task
- Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- MS Office/Excel Expertise
