Role Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Duration: Full Time Permanent
The successful candidate will manage organic & paid search, social media, digital promotions, website management, video, e-mail marketing and ad hoc graphics. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for reporting on campaign effectiveness and evaluating performance against key objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the company website, e-mail marketing, social media channels, content development, social media optimization (SMO), and digital marketing initiatives to create impactful digital user journeys.
- Experience in developing high-quality content; static and motion graphics.
- Launch, monitor, and optimise paid campaigns on Google and Meta platforms, focusing on lead generation and brand awareness. Develop and execute formal A/B testing plans to optimize campaigns and channels.
- Measure and report campaign performance against KPIs, identify deviations, and suggest alternatives. Analyse and test channel performances, manage ROI and actively seek out innovative solutions and opportunities to further develop Barretstown’s digital presence.
- Generate cross-departmental web reports, including weekly and monthly analytics on web donations, traffic, and leads, informing stakeholders across departments.
- Support the budgeting process for the Marketing Department particularly around digital spend and ROI
Essential Criteria:
- 3rd level qualification in Digital Marketing or equivalent
- 3-5 years of digital and data analysis experience, including expertise in website tracking. Experience in website updates and content management using WordPress and familiar with conducting web health checks. Lead on driving traffic to site and championing customer UX and UI.
- Implement and optimise paid advertising campaigns including accurate tracking, tagging and reporting. Demonstrable experience in Google Analytics 4, PPC, SEO. Experience developing and executive paid digital marketing campaigns and ad management: Google Ads, SEM, Facebook Ads platform, You Tube etc.
- Familiar with direct marketing campaigns, audience segmentation and managing e-mail marketing using MailChimp.
- Creation of digital media assets which support marketing communications plans.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Proactively posting content, and community management to deliver high engagement social media campaigns. Experience with social media management tools such as HootSuite and Buffer or similar content scheduling platforms.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent relationship building and management skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Strong project management skills for executing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficient in graphic tools Adobe Creative Suite & Canva and a background in content creation.
- Knowledge of image and video editing software
- Understanding of the Not-for-Profit sector
